The Car
Our rare 1987 BMW E30 M3 was produced and campaigned by BMW as well as racing teams and championships in many forms of motorsport. The M3 burst on to the scenes to the world touring car championship and was declared the champion in the first year, from here the E30 BMW became an iconic car with its ‘dogleg gearbox’, first gear down and to the left making those all-important quick second to third gear changes for racing purposes making it a great experience to drive on the roads.
The road car produced 195bhp as standard but with ours having the factory ‘Hartge’ upgrade produces 240bhp. The E30 M3 differs from the standard E30 BMW in many ways for the purposes of aerodynamics with ‘box flared arches’ to the front and rear, to accommodate a wider track. Our car has spent many years of its life in Portugal and owned by the head of the E30 M3 owners club where he produced a website dedicated solely to this particular car.
Having only covered 20,000 miles in its 29 years and having an overhaul on all wearing parts already. This Diamond black metallic with all black leather interior is in superb overall condition and in all aspects is as if it was stuck in time back when BMW dealers were delivering the M3 E30.
