The Car

The Mercedes Benz 190E Cosworth or also known as the W201 was developed originally to take part in rallying, so Mercedes Benz teamed up with Cosworth to produce the engine required for this, which then led to them competing in the German Touring car series where the road car also had to be produced as part of the rules.

This carried the ‘racing’ gear pattern with ‘dog-leg’ first gear, left and down from the neutral, meaning 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th were in a simple H pattern allowing fast and easy selection. Finished in Blue-Black metallic with black leather Recaro sports seats with interior gauges such as oil temperature, stop watch and voltmeter in the centre console brought the racing requirements to the road car. Great car for that much loved retro look.

This car is suitable for 3 passengers.
